Whether you have an occupational license now, never had one, your license is suspended, revoked, or disqualified, you must take active steps to have your original license reinstated. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) requires that all reinstatement fees and holds be lifted prior to the reinstatement of a license that is “ineligible.” Below are some important information to help you get your license reinstated.

Compliance Documents: If you are required to send in documents to have your license reinstated, i.e., insurance, SR-22 insurance, drug class attendance proof, etc., mail those documents to:

Fees: Fees can be paid online. There is a link on DPS’s eligibility page. Or, you can mail in payment to the address listed below. Remember to include your a copy of your suspension notice, if available. Make sure your payment includes your contact information, including your Driver’s License number so your payment can properly credited:
